Who doesn’t love a rooftop bar? Rooftop bars have become a huge draw for visitors. Whether it has a city view or a view of the ocean – people love getting together under the stars. It’s become so popular that Cornell University is even teaching a course for Revenue Management for Rooftop Bars. Mr. Chekitan Dev, professor at Cornell University School of Hotel Administration, mentioned that; “The idea of moving the party outdoors, weather permitting, or even with heating lamps when it’s cold, creates buzz and buzz usually leads to sales “
And the buzz has arrived here on St. Pete Beach as the chic yet comfy Hotel Zamora gets ready to open their rooftop lounge to the anxiously awaiting locals and visitors of St. Pete Beach!! Hotel Zamora is just North of Pass-a-Grille past the iconic Loews Don Cesar. While we do have the sunset popular Hurricane Seafood restaurant rooftop bar, Hotel Zamora’s “360* Rooftop” offers a slicker updated version with a stylish bar, handcrafted cocktails (these do matter!), lounge furniture, live entertainment and interesting signature bites from the talented culinary team at Castile Restaurant. In other words – they’ve really made an investment here. That makes me happy!
360* will be open nightly to the public for happy hour, sunsets and networking events. It will also be offered for private events, weddings etc.
The official grand opening party is next Thursday, July 9th from 6:30 – 9:30 with tapas, drink specials and live entertainment. Open to the public!
Mayor Maria Lowe and other local city officials and business leaders will be on hand for the private ribbon cutting beforehand to welcome this exciting new asset to the community. St. Pete Beach is growing up ! We wish the folks at Hotel Zamora a ton of success.
P.S. The rooftop will be available this 4th of July weekend to hotel guests and Castile customers. http://www.thehotelzamora.com/dining.
